Dear Mathisen,

Today is your first full day of being 2. What a scary and exciting thing for your Mommy! For your birthday, you got to hang out with Grandma and Grandpa Kotschevar all day! You ate at Culvers for lunch, and then IHOP for supper with Auntie Candi and Kristy and your Mommy.  I promised to not get upset with you all day since it was your birthday, you quickly learned how un-exciting things were once your realized I wasnt getting mad... :) Smart boy. You are beautiful. You are the most amazing baby...wait...you are no longer a baby.  You are perfect in every way. I miss those day when we would cuddle on the couch and nap. You depended on me for everything. Not anymore. You are growing up, little by little. I cried a little bit yesterday, just knowing that you are growing up and that I am so lucky to be able to watch. I love you. Everyday of every second of my life. I hope you had a wonderful birthday. You are 2!!!
